    Which C55x device are you using?
    What version of CCS are you using?
    Did you attempt the solution provided in the other thread by specifying the silicon version? That thread was using a very old version of CCS. The option looks different in newer versions. In the build options of the project go to Build -> C5500 Compiler -> Processor Options.

    Have you been able to get past this? If not can you please let me know which C55x device you are using and which version of CCS.
