CCS/TMS570LS0432: "A router subpath could not be accessed" has been occurred after a while !

Part Number: TMS570LS0432
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi every one.

I'm using "TMS570LS0432" and CCS ver.6.0.1 to developing a project and my programmer is "USB100v2", provided by "blackhawk"

My board contains two same Micro with same schematic and same software. I could programmed both of chips without any problem but after a while one of them wasn't programmed any more and the CCS showed me an error below:

Error connecting to the target: (Error -241 @ 0x0)

A router subpath could not be accessed.

A security error has probably occurred.

Make sure your device is unlocked. (Emulation package 8.0.27.9)

Even I tried to program and erase the chip with "UniFlash" but it showed me the same error.

I replaced my chip with new one and it worked fine for a while but the problem has been occurred again.

The USB100v2 has been connected to the chip with following schematic:

I have spent many hours.

please help

  • Hello Ashkan,

Do you use one JTAG header (JTAG daisy-chain) for both MCU devices on your board?

Is the nERROR signal turned on on your un-connected MCU? The schematics look ok to me.
  • Thanks for your reply

Actually I have two completely separated microcontrollers with two independent JTAG header.
and the nERROR signal is always off.
The weird thing is that, I had programmed both microcontroller before one of them got problematic. I changed the defected micro with a new one and it worked fine for a while, but after a few times of programming it has gotten problematic too.
    It really makes me confused.
  • Hello Ashkan,

It looks like the board issue. I noticed that you connect 2 clock sources to MCU:
    1. crystal X1
    2. crystal X2

If the MCU doesn't have a valid clock, it will not be able to work properly.
