CCS/MSP430FR5948: CCS v8 Exception Code 0xE06D7363 on debug

This project has been running perfectly ... until yesterday ! I hadn't used it for a while but came back to make a change and when I tried to run the debugger it just crashed out with the above exception code.

I installed CCS updates ( now on v8.2.0.00007 but it still crashes out :-

Project builds perfectly, then enter debug, load program, just as this completes it then crashes out, there is a 'dmp' file but it just lists a load of DLLs etc. Is there any more information you require, or that I can retrieve ?

HI Andy,
The dmp file can be quite helpful to us in the analysis. Please attach that to this thread.

Another thing that can be very helpful is to reproduce the issue while generating a debug server log:

Hi Ki,

I have tried to attach the files you requested but it first complained about the file extension, so I zipped them, now it complains about the URL, suggestions ?

Thank you Andy. I will send them to engineering for analysis. Note that many people will be away for the holidays so a response on this will be delayed.

Hi Andy,
We believe you may be running into a known bug (CCBT-2275). This issue was fixed in CCSv8.3.0. Can you try that version and see if the issue is resolved?
