CCS/TMDX5535EZDSP: Demo project compiler error

Hi. I have been trying to compile the demos from the BSL for the ezdsp5535. On the Aic demo, the compiler reports a stack overflow error and suggests I close CCS .I am using CCS v8.

At what point is the error generated? Is it as soon as you tell it to build the aic3204 project?

What is the exact version of CCS v8 you are using? I just imported and built this example with CCS 8.3 and did not have any issues.

Could you try importing that project into a new workspace and see if the error is reproducible?

The error is generated as soon as I try to build that project. I'm using v8.3. I tried a new workspace and just importing that project, and the bsl project it depends on, and now I get errors as well.

Thanks for looking into this. I decided to reinstall CCS, but I still get the original error right when building the aic project.

Larry,

Do other projects build ok? Is this the only one exhibiting this problem?

Could you please attach the .log file mentioned in the error message? It should be inside your workspace's .metadata directory.
