No, this did not resolve the issue.  I should note that I'm running Ubuntu 20.04, but I also had this issue on Ubuntu 19.10.  Also of note,  I also have CCSv9.1.0 installed and the memory allocation view displays correctly.

After some investigation, it turns out that this is a known issue:

It is still open, though I will raise this issue again to see if I can get an approximate fix date.
