MSP-EXP430FR2355: GUI Hangs at COM5:9600 waiting for data.

I am working with my Launch Pad and SLAA930 Dual Ray Smoke Detector.

Typically, I launch my GUI from GUI Composer.

Recently, the GUI that had worked stopped communicating with the launch pad.

The communication process waits with the message com5:9600 waiting for data.

If I install a fresh Project in GUI Composer, all is fine until I rename the GUI Composer Project,

At this point, if I re-launch the GUI, it hangs at the same spot.

I noticed there is an update that was posted in my GUI Composer Project Directory; however, this update fails to install when I try to execute it.

Hi Len Cope, Please set baud rate to 19200bps according to page 11 of slaa930.pdf. Thanks!

The baud rate was already set to 19200bps. The GUI worked before I saved it. The GUI does not work after I save it. The GUI came from the TY Library with the correct baud rate.

Thanks for your help. This solved my problem. When I saved the GUI, the editor changed the baud rate from 19,200 to 9,600.
