Hi John,

Thank you for your reply. I want to know the design methodology used in this single stage converter. For example how to pick what inductance and capacitance and transformer turns ratio.for any given specs. I couldn't find them in the documentation available online.

Hi Mausamjeet,

You will need to design your resonant tank to cover the wide input voltage. Basically you will need to use small magnetizing inductance (Lm) to resonant inductance ratio (Lr). I.e. Small Lm/Lr ratio. In the meantime, you don't want to make the Lm too small or you will have high circulating current and efficiency will suffer. I have also attached the match calculation file I used for PMP10283 for your reference. I no longer have that version mathcad license so I can't do anything to it. Hope you are able to open it.
