Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools
Hi Team,
My customer would like to add LDC1001 on Coil Designer is this possible to add LDC1001 on the Coil Designer Tool? If not is there any work around?
Thank you in advance.

Hi Renan,
We have forwarded your query to concerned team. The team will get back to you soon.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Renan,
We do have a excel calculator that can assist in the coil design. The excel tool can be found in our e2e FAQ. https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors/f/1023/t/295036
Here is the link to the Excel calculator LDC calculator
The LDC1000 coil design tool will work for the LDC1001. You can reuse the coil designer for LDC1000 for LDC1001.
Also, I recommend to use our latest parts as LDC1000/LDC1001 is our first generation and we have updated with the latest parts. Here is the app note to view our latest parts.
Hi Arjun,
Thank you for your response.
One more question. I saw that the Sensor Frequency of the LDC 1000 is 5k to 5MHz and LDC 1001 is 500 kHz-10MHz. Is there any problem with that like inductance Range?. And "Total inductance - Circular" is my max. inductance in my Measurements?
Regards,
Renan
Hi Renan,
The LDC1001 inductance range is (was) the same as our LDC1000. https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/ldc1001.pdf?ts=1593970106580&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Fproduct%252FLDC1001
Its ranges from 5 Khz to 5 Mhz. Its in page 5 of the datasheet spec table.
