TIDA-020003: How to identify whether the output is correct?

Hi,

Base on the reference design TIDA-020003 I would like to verify it through deserializer DS90UB954-Q1 through HDMI display. Can you share with me is there any method or evk available? I've browse the link below but isn't appropriate as I don't use image signal processor.

    Hi Electrobud,

    In our lab settings, one method we've used to evaluate the camera modules in our TIDA-020003 is to connect the module to a few other orderable TI boards. These boards include the TDA3EVM and TIDA-01323.

    The TIDA-01323 features the deserializer that interprets the data sent by the TIDA-020003, and the TDA3EVM includes the devices responsible for HDMI out.  TI has written drivers that can be flashed onto the TDA3EVM that allow the use with many different cameras, in fact all of our TI designs should be supported by these drivers.

    To recap, to receive HDMI out you will require the 3 boards mentioned above: TIDA-020003, TIDA-01323, and TDA3EVM. They all include connectors and connections that allow easy dockable interfaces to one another, and the TIDA-01323 connects to the TIDA-020003 via fakra cable.

    Hi Matt,

    Thanks for the reply, however I've gone through the TDA3EVM and it's very complicated, it is not easy to use and it's time consuming to study it.

    The TIDA-01323 is not for sale.

    Please advise better solution for this.
