PMP30693: How to send the signal to the host to notify the power failure

Part Number: PMP30693

Hi team,

Could you tell how to send the signal to the host to notify the power failure?

It's required to notify that the power failure is happening to the host after that the power failure happens.

Regards,

Noriyuki Takahashi

  • A feature of the PMP30693 is that the transition between mains supply and the backup supply happens automatically and seamlessly, without the need of a microcontroller. When the system voltage drops under a certain threshold, which is usually 100 mV lower than the system voltage, the buck-boost converter starts switching automatically. The ST Pin of U1 and U5 can be used to detect if the ideal diode is disabled or enabled. So you can use TP3 and TP9 to detect the backup mode.

    Thanks,
