PMP22764: PSE isolated power supply for ethernet switch application

Hi team,

My customer is looking for reference design for 8 port PSE isolated power supply.

The spec : Vin: 20v~48v, Vout:55v, Pout:160W

I have found that pmp22764 which is also for PSE isolated  power supply. It is pretty fit to customer's requirement except the output power.

Do we have higher power reference design for this application? Or do you have any suggestion for this kind of spec?

    Ben,

    160W is too much power for a single flyback converter.  I would recommend interleaved flyback converters or possibly a push-pull converter.  PMP22764 could be redesigned to meet the input voltage requirements and then two used in parallel with either interleaving or a power limit circuit.
