PSPICE-FOR-TI: LIBRARY_NAME.liberrorLog access rights to folder cause pSPICE-for-TI to crash

Hi Claudio,

The liberrorlog files are created for the user to see if a model is a genuine TI model which ensures correct simulation. Currently there's no way to turn off the creation of this file.

How do you use models in your read-only library in simulation? Do you include them in the simulation profile?

Thx for replying. We add those libraries to the design. We are not using the global option for practical reasons at my company since we want to keep trace of which libraries are used in each project with their version and until now this is the only way we found to do so.

Is there a chance that if we add them as global this liberrorlog thing won't happen or is it cooked into the software no matter what?

We have not been able to reproduce the problem using our own setup. 

We put a LIB file into a read-only directory called "lib" and include that LIB file in our simulation profile:

Then we closed the project and reopened it and here's the session log:

INFO(ORCAP-2456): Updated c:\cds_spb_home\cdssetup\psptilibdir\referencedesign\ina2126_v1_0\ina2126_pspice_aio\lib\ina2126.lib
Backup of original libraries created at C:\CDS_SPB_HOME\CDSSETUP\PSPTILIBDIR\REFERENCEDESIGN\INA2126_V1_0\INA2126_PSPICE_AIO\libbackup

Then we checked the "lib" folder and the "liberrorLog" file has not been created in it:

Is this setup similar to what you have?
