thank you for your hard work.
When inserting a PWL source file, can it be executed only with an Excel CSV file?
Please let me know if you have any recommendations instead of CSV.
note that,
I want to insert a PWL source file and observe the PWM waveform. C: \ Users \ Toshiki Takahata \ OneDrive \ Desktop \ PWLCSV.csv
When I run it with this file, I get an error saying "File cannot be opened". Why.
C: \ Cadence \ PSpiceTI \ PWLCSV.csv This file is an excel conversion of the one created by matlab. Is it because it is displayed in Japanese in the URL of the file?
Hi Toshiki.
Would you please share the file? Click the menu below: Insert -> Image/Video/File.
Thanks,
JC
Hi Toshiki,
Sorry, please upload it to this thread. I cannot access google docs.
Thanks,
JC
Hi Toshiki,
Sorry. As mentioned, I cannot access files on your google drive. Would you please upload it here instead of providing an URL?
Thanks,
JC
Hi Toshiki,
Please use the part called "VPWL_FILE" and specify the file. See the attached project:
BTW, your file contains an error:

Hi thank you for your reply.
I'm always saved.
is the VPWL_FILE a part surrounded by a red frame in the image above?
In addition, is it necessary to set the setting value of the part written in the blue frame and yellow in the image above this time?
The attachment is very helpful. So, last but not only one, is the V1 of the image above saved in this attachment PWLCSV that improved the error that you pointed out the other day? If so, I'd use it as it is.
I'm sorry for the long sentences. I really appreciate you that the work is going one step at a time every day. I'm waiting for a reply.
Tosi.
Hi Toshiki,
The red box is where you specify the PWL file to use, like what's in the screenshot. The blue box is optional, basically tells the software if it should start from the first line again after the last line in the CSV file is reached.
Values in the first column of the CSV file cannot decrease (as line 5774 does in the file you provided). The file you uploaded is not a correct PWL file. I modified it and attached it here:
Thanks,
JC
Thank you for your reply.
The image above is where you were instructed to fix it. I fixed it as shown in the image below. Is it okay if it is this number?
This is the corrected file. Take a look. I would like to insert PWL in this file if you like. Thank you for your reply. Thank you very much.
Tosi.
