Is there a way to reduce the number of points used in the transient simulation in Pspice for TI?
This would be used to create faster simulations and smaller simulation file sizes.

You cannot specify number of transient points. But you can set the speed level (basically loose/tighten the tolerances) which affects the number of points (as well as the accuracy and the data file size).
Data file size is also affected by what you want to be saved:
