TIDA-01413: Radar sensor output for Fusion hub

Hi TI Team,

As per the sensor fusion hub reference design (https://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-01413), which are the TI's recommended radar modules that can be directly interfaced with sensor fusion hub. Please let me know what is the expected sensor output (Raw ADC, Point cloud data, Processed Objects) that is required as CSI2 input of fusion hub.

Hi Binu,

The TIDA-01413 can accept raw data from the FPD-Link connection. The best solution for a radar module with this output format is from D3 Engineering. I am checking to see if I can find a link or documentation on this specific design.

Thanks Brian, Please share any links available regarding the design. So for fusion solutions we need raw data as TIDA-01413 input, Is this understanding correct?

Hi Binu,

That is correct. I confirmed with D3 that this product is not on their website, but it is still available. I would recommend contacting them through their website and referring to the "D3RM A12 plus 953 Serializer Baseboard". They also make a TDA4 based module that will accept the input from these sensors. It is available with D3 software that allows you to be up and running quickly.
