Hi Team,

I have a couple of questions about this reference design.

The customer is planning to use the OPA2337 and MSP-EXP430G2 from the reference for their medical application and I would like to know if this is fit to detect the airflow direction of a human breath? The application requires to detect human breath and distinguish which is an inhales or exhales.

I couldn't even find information about how the TICA-00250 performs this transducer task. As designed it should not work for direction detection

I would expect that a piezo strip could detect deflection direction. So a different circuit could work.

Keep in mind that I learned about the existence of these strips today.
