Problem occurred while importing 3rd party Spice model

I've just modified "Simulation Settings" --> "Configuration Files" (changed file extension .net --> .lib and changed Category to "Library")

Now Spice model is opened when I right-click/View Spice Model. Here it is ...

Hi Pavel,

If the configuration is correct, the .cir file above should have a line looks like ".INC ".....PMEG6010CEH.LIB".

It's hard to tell what went wrong without looking at your project. Please archive and share.

Alternatively, please share a screenshot of your sim profile configuration (same as 3:14 ~ 3:17 of the video you referenced).

I don't know what the problem was but when I put 2 markers (instead of one) I was able to run the simulation.

But it stopped due to convergence problem.

Hi Pavel,

When you importing a PSpice model file, the new component should have an "implementation" of "PSpice Model" rather than "schematic".

After you fixed that, the simulation did not proceed because this is not a TI device. Adding up to 3 probes will allow you to run the simulation in the non-TI mode.

The convergence issue may be caused by your schematic, or the imported model. I'll let the LMR14206 product team comment.

Hi Pavel, 

If you intend to simulate the device operating in a standard buck configuration you will need to connect the GND symbol to the GND pin as illustrated below. 

If your intention is to simulate the device in an inverting buck boost configuration, please configure the schematic as illustrated in Figure 8 of this app note.

I modified setup according to hints from the app. note.

Finally I could simulate it.

The problem with the "annoying message" may have nothing to do with the original problem...probably a tool bug.

This regulator has no IBB-adapted model, so using hint from app. note is the only method to run simulation.

No I've not tried with other diodes.
