Hi.

I would like to make and experiment grid-tied 3-phase inverter as a Desing Guide: TIDA-00366.

In the document, TI engineers used TMS320F28027 as an MCU, but I would like to use TMS320F28377.

Is it possible to follow the document with TMS320F28377? (Change MCU only)

    Thank you for your interest in the TIDA-00366 3-phase inverter.

    The TIDA-00366 was developed independent on which C2000 MCU will be used to generate the PWMs and get the feedback signals from the isolated amplifiers.
    The header fits the F28027 LaunchPad, as this Launchpad was used internal TI to test the performance of the TIDA-00366 power stage.  

    So yes, you can follow the design guide related to the powers stage, as long as the interface to the MCU, I think in your case in your case TMS320F27377S  matches the
    correct GPIO on the TMS320F27377S.

    I am a beginner at working with DSP (hardware & software), so I got more questions to ask you.

    1) In your comments, "The header fits the F28027 LaunchPad", did it mean the header of TMS320F28377S is available to operate the system?

    2) Is "TMS320F27377S" a typing mistake of "TMS320F28377S" ?

    3) Is it okay if I work with TMS320F28377D? (I already got this one..)

    sorry for the typo. Yes I meant TMS320F28377S.

    1) With the header I was referring to the power board PCB connectors J10 and J11, where the TMS320F28027 Launchpad was connected.

    2) Yes, you can use TMS320F28377D too, which is dual core. For differences between the S (single core) and the D (dual core) version please
    refer to the corresponding datasheets TMS320F2837xS and TMS320F2837xD. 

    I am sure you are aware of the C2000 MCU motor control SDK which provide example of software for motor control? 
    C2000WARE-MOTORCONTROL-SDK  MotorControl software development kit (SDK) for C2000 MCUs
