TIDA-00318: Breaking out BQ51003 BGA or leaving pins floating

Part Number: TIDA-00318
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ51013B

I am designing a very small toy and it does not support the cost increase of having a PCB that uses via-in-pad for the breakout of the leftmost FOD, CLMP2, CLMP1, and RECT pins.

Can I

1. Leave FOD floating? WPC compliance is not needed, but it does need to work and transfer power.

2. Leave CLMP2 and CLMP1 floating? The datasheet does mention something about "if used" for this pin.

3. Via-between-pad for RECT? It looks like I could fit a larger via in between pins C2 and C3 to avoid via-in-pad on RECT pin C3.

Or, should I give up and use the QFN package of BQ51013B, losing both power and space efficiency and increasing IC costs? The battery is 95mAh and charge current is 50mA.
