Good evening,
I am working on a 5.5V/11Amp power supply so I took TI's PMP11371 reference design. I also finished all the testing on the board of reference design and then made the power supply circuit board for my project. But when I switch on my power supply the IC of my power supply UCC2874DR IC is not doing the switching And even when switching is done, sometimes the MOSFET and sometimes the IC switching gets damaged.
I re-checked the circuit of the entire PCB or removed the faults I found but still my IC gets damaged or the Mosfet gets damaged and blasts with spark but I am not able to understand anything. What should I do because I have destroyed many ICs and MOSFETs while testing but still my power supply is not turning on Please let me know because I am using 2 reference designs of TI PMP11371 and PMP40025 both are the power supply requirements of my device but thats by I have selected the reference design for my project from which I can power my device.
