Hello,
Maybe this question has already been asked in the past, but I dare to repeat it once again:
why TI PSpice does not integrate third party component libraries like tools such as LTSpice (Analog Device) or eDsim (ST) do.
Well, there is a way to import Spice models into TI PSpice, but it results in a considerable loss of time (i.e. looking for the components elsewhere, then integrating them).
Another question: are there third-party component libraries (e.g. MOSFET, BJT, diodes, etc.) that can be easily imported and integrated into TI PSpice?
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Pavel.
Hi Pavel,
We've heard you (and others) and will be releasing an update to PSpice for TI that includes simple, building block devices such as MOSFET, BJT, Diodes, etc.
We are testing that release internally now.
Regards,
David
Hi David,
But these "simple building blocks" exist already.
My question was rather on real devices from 3rd party manufacturers.
For example, LTSpice porvides many MOSFETs from Infineon, Fairchild, NXP, Onsemi, Renesas, Rohm, ST, Vishay, Toshiba, etc.
quite a lot of BJTs from Linear Systems, NXP, Fairchild, Rohm
important quantity of different diodes from NXP, Onsemi, Rohm, etc.
Is TI planning to provide the same 3rd party model facilities in TI PSpice?
Sincerely,
Pavel
I have no this stuff. I've only TI models. Where can I find/integrate these libraries.
Sorry for the delay. Some people were out, and we don't have a firm date.
It'll probably be available by the end of February.
