Hi, support team.
I am trying to update PSpice for TI from 2023 to 2024.
The following error message appears and installation fails.
---
You have reached the concurrent device access limit.
Too many devices are attempting to connect with the same access key.
Hi Jose,
I'll request that the old installs be disabled. I'll also check on why this was triggering the concurrent device access limit.
Upgrading shouldn't look like that IMO, but let me get confirmation from Cadence on that.
David
It didnt' come in overnight, so it'll probably be either in a couple of hours, or tomorrow.
Hi David,
I have tried again. Now the message has changed:
"This device is not authorized to run this application. Use the application on
authorized devices only. For further assitance, go to http://e2e.ti.com. (-2025)"
The instaled version is 17.4-2023-S009
Best regards,
Hi Jose,
The old installs have been disabled.
Since you're getting 17.4 error and you should be installing 23.1, I'd recommend uninstalling PSpice for TI, re-boot, then request PSpice for TI so that you get a fresh link to the download.
Install that and report if you have any problems.
David
Hi David,
I have followed your instructions by uninstalling and installing version 2024. Now everything works correctly.
Thanks for your support
