We designed a device following the design reference TIDA-050010, it works well but its efficiency is not as good as we expected. We want to try to improve the circuit by using a different boost converter, we considered the TPS63900, but we are not sure if it is suitable for this application.Our device is based on an NRF9160 communication module with consumption peaks close to 400mA, powered by a primary LiSOCL2 battery LSH20; in standby the current consumption is 1 - 2mA.
TPS63900 could work? is there any better option?
