TPSM53603: TPSM53603

Part Number: TPSM53603

Tool/software:

1. Why analog and power ground both needed simultaneously? how can we use them in our circuit?

2.Why the NC PIN(PIN11) is connected to a resistor and then grounded?

3.What is the range of input voltage required and input current required?

4.Can we change the switching frequency? if yes then how?

5.why the specific values only chosen for resistors and capacitors?

6. What is the need of 2 parallel capacitors at input side?

  • Hello Vaishnavi,

Please review the data sheet to understand typical operating conditions and applications:

    1. Why analog and power ground both needed simultaneously? how can we use them in our circuit?

You must connect analog and power GND together. Internal power and analog ground reference must be the same.

2.Why the NC PIN(PIN11) is connected to a resistor and then grounded?

Where are you referring to this occurrence? NC pins should be grounded according to data sheet specifications

3.What is the range of input voltage required and input current required?

3.8V-36V input voltage. The input current should not exceed 3A

4.Can we change the switching frequency? if yes then how?

This device has a fixed switching frequency

5.why the specific values only chosen for resistors and capacitors?

Please indicate where you are referring to these values. capacitor and resistor values are consistent with data sheet recommendations and design calculations.

    6. What is the need of 2 parallel capacitors at input side?

Input capacitors serve multiple purposes. Of those purposes, you may want capacitors to perform damping, decoupling, or high frequency filtering. Refer to the data sheet for the purpose of any specific capacitor listed in a typical application

    I hope this helps,

    Ryan
