Tool/software:
Hello E2E Experts,
Good day.
Based on the image below, may I know what is the rating of motor you are using?
One more question:
Can you list the things you mentioned in the above picture with detail part numbers?
Can you explain whether this setup, what you mentioned can I used for motor control using foc algorithm.?
Regards,
TI-CSC
Hi Jonard,
The tested motor is a 3-phase AC induction motor (ACIM). In fact, anyone with proper voltage rating and current rating for the tests need are OK. A possible example for the rating, just for reference, may be of 1500W, 3-PH, 230Vac, 50Hz, 7.2A, 1500rpm.
Besides the motor, in the picture, it still has a laptop computer, a LAUNCHXL-F28379D, a power supply reference design board of TIDA-00199, and the two boards of the TIDA-010025 and the TIDA-010025CB.
This setup surely can be used to implement a FOC control algotithm, or its development and tuning; but a low-voltage (24V, 36V or so) platform may be much safer to the user, and thus more suitable for this job. Customer may still need more items, for example, an encoder for rotor position angle sensing, especially in an early stage of the development work. Refer to C2000WARE (https://www.ti.com/tool/C2000WARE) and C2000WARE-MOTORCONTROL-SDK for more references.
Best regards,
Jerome Shan
