Dear support member,
My customer used TPS5450-EP.
WEBENCH is not exist TPS5450-EP simulation .
Is it no problem to use a simulation of the catalog product (TPS5450)?
Best regard.
Bob lee.
Bob,
You can use the catalog part for your simulation and design, however, please remember that the extended temperature range is not modeled in the catalog part. The models are not built to address the extended range of use for the -EP or -Q1 devices.
Bob,
TPS5450-EP temperature range is -55 to 125 degrees Celsius, while TPS5450 temperature range is -40 to 125 degrees Celsius. Since we only have the TPS5450 device in WEBENCH, in the design creation phase you can only create designs in the -40 to 125 degC range. If you are OK with that, then you can use the TPS5450 as a proxy for TPS5450-EP device.
Regards,
Surinder
Dear Surinder,
Thank you very much for reply.
If exceeding the catalog temperature range,
Could you create a model of the new Enhanced Product?
Best regard.
Bob Lee.
Bob,
The TPS5450-EP device only goes outside the TPS5450 from -55 to -40 degC. Is this the temperature space your application needs to be designed for?
Surinder
Dear Surinder,
Thank you very much for your reply.
My customer used Operating temperature range from -55℃ to 125℃.
So, My customer expect of create EP model.
Best regard.
Bob Lee.
Bob,
We would not be able to add TPS5450-EP into WEBENCH at this point, you may have to use TPS5450 at the closest temperature it can serve. Please note, WEBENCH designs are done at a particular ambient temperature and not for a range.
Thanks,
Surinder
