What are the benefits of using UCC21520 in the implementation of half-bridge, isolated gate drivers used in power stages of UPS, Inverters, Server and Telecom applications?
TIDA-01159 is a fully tested TI Reference Design that provides provides a reference solution for half-bridge isolated gate drivers used in driving power stages of UPS, Inverters, Server and Telecom applications.
The UCC21520 and the UCC21520A are isolated dual-channel gate drivers with 4-A source and 6-A sink current, with best-in-class propagation delay and pulse-width distortion. These devices provide reinforced isolation of 5.7-kV RMS with a CMTI of >100V/nS. TIDA-01159 reference design takes advantage of the gate drive strength, low propagation delay and high CMTI to implement a half-bridge gate driver circuit for isolated DC-DC converters.
