TIDA-00401: TIDA-00401 library files for cad drawings

Part Number: TIDA-00401

Where can I find the library files for the reference design TIDA-00401?

They provided a schematic and pcb but not the actual library used.  Do I need to build it myself?

Thank you

  • Hello Leo and thanks for you interest in Texas Instruments. What is customary for our reference designs is to provide you with the Altium Gerber files, PCB layer plots, assembly drawings, and schematic/BOM such that you can build/customize for your own system level design. All those files are provided at the bottom of the tool folder for the TIDA-00401. When you mention library files, what in particular were you looking for? Let me know please.

  • Hi Leo,

You don't require access to the library files TI used.  You can generate libraries for the parts in that design easily.  Look on the Design menu.  When you're editing a SchDoc you can make a schematic library, and when you're editing a PcbDoc you can make a PCB library.
