TIDA-01556: How to visualize test result?

Part Number: TIDA-01556

Hi

I am learning the TIDA-01556's video and reference-design. And I have a question about how to visualize your outdoor test result like TI did in PPT page 19 which has curve for tested input current, input power and charging current.

I mean I know the charger/MCU may have these data but how to visualize it into such beautiful graph? Is it using Oscilloscope?

Please tell the details and how to do that to make a straightforward and pretty result graph like you guys did in reference design.

Thank you.

  • Hello,

Using an oscilloscope would be ideal, but that test was not done in the outdoor test.

You need to be able to measure and store the input current, input voltage, output current, and also monitor the charger's ADC registers.

You will need to log this continuous measurement, likely with an MCU combined with a communication interface to parse and log the data.
