Hi Sir,

As per BOM of PMP8878 the Inductor L2 (N87 cores) and Transformer T2 (3C97 cores) core material details are available.

1. Could you please share the RM core (TDK/ Ferroxcube) Part number used in the design.

2. These cores are customized or standard RM cores.

I was searching for the part No or details of the RM core used in PMP8878.

The details which was shared in the reply seems to Payton planar transformers

I have asked for the correct drawings from my colleagues, hopefully I should have a response by next week, Friday is a holiday in the US and Monday is a holiday in Europe.

Hi Johny,

I have has no reply yet from the original design team in the US, but I have opened the gerbers and the cores are almost certainly RM6. The RM6, LP, low profile has a widow height of 4.5mm so the cores can be ground down to reduce the overall height.
