I'm getting an error while trying to import some spices into TINA-TI, whats the solution please?

Hi,

I'm getting an error while trying to import LM3880 into TINA-TI, the error says: invalid device: $CDNENCSTART.Line: #62. $CDNENCSTART.

Importing TPS54339 generate an error says: empty file!

Importing TPS2420 gives me an error: invalid device: $CDNENCSTART.Line: #52. $CDNENCSTART.

Do you have an idea about the the solution?

Hi Ahmed,

The LM3800 and TPS2420 are showing errors because PSpice files are encrypted ones and hence cannot be used for TINA-TI simulations.

However, TPS54339 has TINA-TI model in the product folder which runs fine in 9.3.150.328 SF-TI version of TINA-TI.

Thanks Vivek. So, how to get the unencrypted TPS2420 and LM380? Would it be possible to email it to me please?!

Hi Ahmed,

For the TPS2420 and LM3880, unfortunately an unencrypted SPICE model is not available for distribution.

In this case, Can anyone tell me how I'm supposed to build a circuit that has LM3880 and TPS2420 components using TINA-TI?
