Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models
I'm running noise simulation of OPA445 using Tina simulation package. I suspect that the simulation model is not accurate by comparing with in data sheet. But the data sheet only provides the voltage noise down to 10Hz and no flicker current noise. Other mfgs provide down to 0.1Hz. Do you have more accurate model? Any suggestions how to evaluate noise performance
Hi Jeff,
The OPA445 uses an older macromodel architecture which may not model voltage or current noise as accurately as the architecture used in newer macromodels.
Since it seems that the OPA445 macromodel does model the broadband noise correctly, but simply lacks the 1/f noise component, it may be possible to add an external noise source to model the 1/f region. More information on external noise sources can be found here: https://e2e.ti.com/support/tools/sim-hw-system-design/f/234/t/188545
