Hello all,
I have a problem with TLK2711-SP impedance matching. In the data sheet, 11.1 Routing should be 50-Ω matched impedance and length for differential transmit and receive. Does it mean to control 50Ω differential impedance? In addition, does sending and receiving need to be the same length?
can you explain to me this issue?
Thank you for your help.
Best regards.
The note is a little vague.
It should note. Route 50ohm to ground single ended loosely coupled, or 100ohm differential routing. The routes shown are 50ohm to ground for each trace.
Send and receive are independent from each other. There is no requirement to match the differential TX to RX differential lengths.
The parallel sides of each need to be matched to insure that setup/holds are met to the clock.
TXD, TKxSB and GTX_CLK need to be matched, and RXD, RKxSB need to be timed to RX_CLK.
