Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools
Hi,
I have the design complete and can print a report and simulate. When I select the schematic pane and click the arrow in the upper right and select altium designer the resulting zip file downloaded is empty
If I select the "export" menu and then select "export option" it generates a file but that file only contains the readme, the TI disclaimer, and a "simulation" folder with a single file with a *.wbx file extension
Thanks in advance for your help in resolving this issue.
I have tried with both Chrome and Edge and get the same results, output file attachedWBDesign127_AltiumDesigner.zip
Hi David,
We will look into this issue and get back to you soon.
Thanks & Regards,
Praveen
Hi David,
Currently there is a issue with schematic of LM5164 device and we are looking into it.
Meanwhile you can use LM5164-Q1 device for your simulation which has same functionality.
Thanks and Regards,
Atul
Atul,
Thanks for confirming the issue on your side and for working to resolve it . Two things I changed on the design from "default" were that I set the UVLO at 10V and I added the input filter. I have other sections of the design to work on and so have a little time to see if you can resolve it before I build a new design with the -Q1 part.
Thanks,
Dave
Hi Dave,
We are working on this. The schematic and PCB need to be corrected. The verification and release process might take some time. We will keep you updated on the same.
Thanks & Regards,
Praveen
Praveen,
Thank you, any guidance as to when you might estimate it might be resolved?
Dave
Hi Dave,
The fix will be available on ti.com by the end.of this month.
Thanks & Regards,

Praveen,
Thanks for the update. I am looking forward to finishing the design...
Dave
hopefully today is the day, I assume you will post here when it is resolved?
Hi David,
Unfortunately, we are facing some infrastructure issues for WEBENCH export and it might take more time to fix as there is a dependency on various factors. We are working actively on this. We will keep you updated on this. Meanwhile, you can use LM5164-Q1 device for your simulation which has the same functionality.
Thanks & Regards,
Praveen
Hi David,
Sorry for the inconvenience. This is taking more time than expected. We are working on this. We will keep you updated.
Thanks & Regards,
Praveen
Praveen,
I had to finish and release the design to our customer. I did what you had suggested and built a new converter using the -Q automotive part and successfully exported that to Altium. I am all set at this point and will mark this closed.
Thanks,
Dave
