I would like to implement FOC algorithm for PMSM motor using MSP430fFR2355 microcontroller and instaspin GUI.

Can TI guide me with the requirements i.e hardware and software required for implementing the same.

Hello Johnson,

Thank you for responding.With the link provided above it shows that instaspin is dedicated for limited c2000 MCUs. I have a query regarding INSTASPIN-FOC, Can we use instaspin-foc gui for TIDA010056?

If yes then what will be the hardware requirement for implementing FOC using Instaspin for PMSM motor.

Hi Jeet,

instaspin-foc gui is just used to C200 series MCU, thus this is can not used to TIDA-010056.

This reference design uses the FOC program designed by ourselves.
