WEBENCH® Tools/DRV5032: Leakage current of DRV5032FA and DRV5032AJ

Part Number: DRV5032

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Dear Sir or Madam,

1. DRV5032FA (push-pull, 4.8mT)

1.1How much leakage current flow on the IC (when it not detect magnet, Vcc=Vout=High state)?

**I see only open-drain mode.

2. DRV5032AJ (open-drain, 9.5mT)

2.1 How much state high-level of voltage output high?

3. I see the table in the datasheet have peak current consumption. So,

3.1 When will the peak current consumption occur?

  • Hello,

    Here is our response.

    1) The information on leakage current isn't on the datasheet and based on the block diagram since the output is a h-bridge the current leakage will be low.

    2) The maximum output voltage supported is VCC + 0.3V as described in the ABS max section of the datasheet 7.1. Since its a open drain its pulled high to the VCC.

    3) Figure 20 in the datasheet provides you the description on when the peak current occurs here. The peak current is during the sampling time specifically during the tactive time.
