The half FET bridge on page 1 has resistor dividers (R3/R8 for example) driving the low side FETs. These resistors draw current during detection and appear as an impedance in parallel with R35. The value of R35 is increased to keep the detection resistance the PSE sees at 25k ohms. If you are using a diode bridge or full FET bridge (discrete or integrated) then R35 can be changed back to 24.9k ohms.
