How to create .lib from .olb for TPS60500?

Hi!

I downloaded the .olb file for Orcad for the TPS60500 and I can place the part and everything in my schematic. But I want to be able to simulate

my design as well and for that it seems I need the .lib file for it. For some of the components on TI there seems to be a PSpice pack containing both

the .lib and .olb, but I'm wondering how to create one if you've only got the .olb. Or is there a similiar component with an already made pack that I can

use instead just to verify that my voltage levels are correct?

Hi Pontus,

Unfortunately at this time, we do not have a PSPICE model (.lib) for TPS60500 and the model development work is not scheduled for this part at this time. The .olb file contains only the symbol for the part and the association with the model, but not the actual model itself which will be in the .lib file. All of the TI analog macro-models are available on http://www.ti.com/spicerack.
