Is ist possible to get the iBeacon enabled firmware for testing purposes without an Apple registration?

I want to test weather the technologie itself fits my needs before registering as a developer at Apple.

    Hi,


    You do need to be a Apple MFi licensee to get the fw, but you can implement yourself by following the publicly available iBeacon specs. iBeacon is just a broadcaster with specific Advertisement data. You can use the simpleBLEBroadcaster project as a reference.
