Hi,

What is the practical range (in terms of distance) that can be achieved between two CC2500 transceivers operating as transmitter and receiver in 2.4GHz frequency band with OOK modulation, with 1024bps data rate? no FEC, coding and data whitening.

The minimum datarate for OOK is 1.2 kbps.

I haven't seen any numbers that enable us to estimate the range. If you know or can measure the conducted sensitivity with the settings you use you should be able to find an estimate using https://www.ti.com/tool/RF-RANGE-ESTIMATOR. Note that the range estimator doesn't contain direct support for what you are looking for but if you have the relevant sensitivity numbers getting an estimate should still be possible.

Ordered pair of CC2500EK and SMARTRFTRXEBK, will test it once I get it. Also try the RF-RANGE-ESTIMATOR.
