Hi,

is there a function available (IAR EW) where I can get the start adress and the end adress of the section no_init? I was not successful in placing the section no_init at a specific address and a prefined size via the inf file. Is there an example of moving this section to a specific address?

Hi Stefan,

You can look at the project .map file. (You need to build the project to generate this file.)

Hi Marie,

I meant getting the address of a section using a function call.

Hi Stefan,

I don't think we have any runtime API for this. However you should be able to move the section to a given address using the linker command file.
