CC1354R10: Application issues of chips

Part Number: CC1354R10
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1310,

Tool/software:

1. What issues should be noted when using CC1310 and CC1354?
2. The use of CC1354 400MHZ has not been explicitly stated in the specification sheet. Could you please help me ask TI if there is a reason for this? We will
Is it possible to use 400M. Is it reasonable to use CC1352 for the design of TxRx circuits in China's IoT 470-510MHz, as stated in the relevant public information?
3. Is it possible for the temperature signal to enter from DIO9 \ 10 \ 11?
4. Are there any special requirements for the use of the 48M and 32.768KHZ crystal oscillators? What are the areas to pay attention to for these two crystal oscillators? For example, can different types of crystal oscillators be used and what are their advantages and disadvantages?
5. When programming, TCK, TMS, TDI, and TDO are all required, but only two are used in the specification sheet. Why?
6. DIO5 \ 6 \ 7 has strong driving ability, is there a specific analysis?
7. What anti-interference issues should be noted when wiring CC1310 and CC1354. Please provide reference designs for the layout.
8. Can you provide a specific analysis of the functionality of RX-TX? Can it call multiple frequency bands to complete different uplink and downlink data communication?
9. The 2.4G input is divided into positive and negative terminals. What should be noted when using it?
10. Is there any recommended antenna and what should be noted when using it?
11. What should be noted when using 2.4G and 400M simultaneously?
12. What are the static current and dynamic current of CC1354?
13. Is there anything particularly noteworthy about the 2.4G and 400MHz filtering channels?
14. Assist in applying for samples of CC1310, CC1354, and surrounding components,
15. Can CC1310 and CC1354 synchronize control signals and transmission signals? Currently, control signals and transmission information are switched through development. In other words, can a transmission method similar to duplex be implemented? How can this be achieved?
16. Does CC1310, CC1354's 12-bit SAR ADC, 200ksps, 8 channels refer to DIO 23-30?
17. Can users set the priority level of tasks for CC310 and CC354? The main purpose is to ensure timely response of control signaling and time synchronization information
18. Please provide as complete information as possible regarding the reference circuit design and layout reference of cc1310 cc1354, as well as other design considerations

  • Hi,

Please refer to the datasheet, reference designs and the software development kit (SDK) which answer the majority of your questions.

Sample request is available on the landing page

  • 8. Can you provide a specific analysis of the functionality of RX-TX? Can it call multiple frequency bands to complete different uplink and downlink data communication?

The RX TX pin provide bias for the LNA to achieve ~1 dB better sensitivity than without. It has nothing to do with different bands etc.

    4. Are there any special requirements for the use of the 48M and 32.768KHZ crystal oscillators? What are the areas to pay attention to for these two crystal oscillators? For example, can different types of crystal oscillators be used and what are their advantages and disadvantages?

In addition to the requirements stated in the datasheet, see www.ti.com/.../swra495k.pdf

    11. What should be noted when using 2.4G and 400M simultaneously?

Note that the chips you are asking about only have one RF front end meaning that a chip can only cover one band and either RX or TX at a given time

    3. Is it possible for the temperature signal to enter from DIO9 \ 10 \ 11?

What do you mean by "Temperature signal"? Analog, digital (and which bus)

    5. When programming, TCK, TMS, TDI, and TDO are all required, but only two are used in the specification sheet. Why?

Both 2 pin and 4 pin JTAG can be used, see the TRM

    10. Is there any recommended antenna and what should be noted when using it?

PCB antenna or something else? Single band or dual band? Required bandwidth? etc.

    17. Can users set the priority level of tasks for CC310 and CC354? The main purpose is to ensure timely response of control signaling and time synchronization information

Yes but depends on the OS you are running.
