CC3220S-LAUNCHXL: Issue with http server demo on CC3220S launchpad

I followed the directions to the http server demo. Once I flash the firmware on to the development board and reset the processor I am getting a 404 error on the web server and the serial port is not reporting any data to the computer. Is there a problem with the sdk academy directions? Is it possible I made a mistake? I would like to get this demo running so that I can better understand how to develop my application. Thanks

Hi Thomas,

I just worked through the steps in the SimpleLink academy here:

and the demo worked. I can confirm that I also am not seeing any messages printed on the terminal, but I am able to control the LED and see the temperature from the device by connecting to the mysimplelink.net/portable.html webpage.

Can you double check that you followed all the steps to the demo correctly and added the "www" folder and "dummy-root-ca-cert" from here to the userFiles folder in your project?
After rebuilding the application and flashing it to the launchpad:
- reset the device
- connect to the AP broadcasted by your device (mysimplelink-xxxxxx). Allow enough time for your device to connect. If you are using a phone, turn off cellular data.
- open web browser and connect to mysimplelink.net/portable.html. You should be able to open mysimplelink.net as well

Thanks for looking into the demo example to make sure it is working. I was able to get it to work once I removed the parantheses around the http stack size in the main_tirtos code.
