Hello,

Does the CC3100 support testing using the loopback address (127.0.0.1-127.255.255.255) on a specific port (e.g., 80)?

If so, how can I test if the HTTP server is enabled or not this way?

Hi,

No. Loopback is not supported by CC31xx devices. If you want to test that http server is really running (not only reading natapp state) you need do this from outside device.

It's possible to determine this checking the Netapp state? I've tried all the available APIs and couldn't get them tell me if the HTTP server was enabled or not. The only way I can determine if it's running is by reading the sys/mode.cfg file.

Hi,

You have right, there is no API to get state of http server. You can "determine" state of webserver from return code of sl_NetAppStart() or error from asynchronous handler if something failed.
