CC3200: CC3200: sl_FsOpen() return SL_FS_SECURITY_ALLERT

The error mostly relates to a memory corruption. Maybe due to a power failure during the flash access (during the FsOpen or during a previous write access) - is this possible? have you gone through the hardware design review process? (www.ti.com/.../SIMPLELINK-WIFI-DESIGN-REVIEWS).

Can you provide an NWP log capture of the failure (see chapter 20 in https://www.ti.com/lit/swru455).

Thank you for reply. We observed this problem on few devices from end-users and we can not reproduce locally. We do not have direct access to these devices so debug is not possible for now.

Do the devices support factory-reset? If the issue relates to flash memory corruption, this may be the only way to recover. 

Can the customer keep working with the older SP? i.e. other functionalities are ok? is this consistent on a device that showed the issue?

Yes, device is supporting factory-reset. I requested contact with customer and asked to perform this action.

Unfortunately I do not know if customer observe any other problems. I only see that affected devices are able to keep connection with internet so probably devices are functional.

Have you tried the OTA update again on the affected devices? is the issue consistent? 

Yes, issue is permanent and exists also after device reboot.
