WL1831MOD: Concurrent Use of WiFi and Bluetooth using a Single Antenna

Hi,

I’m working on a project that requires to send/receive data on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth at the same time. I am planning on using the WL1831MOD with only 1 antenna, would that be something that is possible?

Hi,

Bluetooth and Wi-Fi share the same antenna via an internal switch so it is time divided.

There is an internal mechanism for co-existence that does the arbitration according to priorities and it is transparent to the user.

But for youe question, both protocols are time divided.
