CC3200-LAUNCHXL: P2P routine cannot connect to mobile phone via wifi Direct

Part Number: CC3200-LAUNCHXL
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3200SDK, UNIFLASH

Hi team,

CCS:8.3.0

SDK:1.5.0,CC3200SDK_1.5.0\cc3200-sdk\example\p2p

Mobile phone model: Huawei Mate60

The program stopped in this while, the routine has not been changed at all, and the direct debug or uniflash download cannot be connected. It keeps showing that it is connecting. After connecting for a while, the cc3200-p2p-device disappeared from the list of available devices. Do I need a mobile phone to set it up? Why does it keep connecting?

Thanks & Best regards,

Yolande

  • Hi team,

I tried other honor70, but the nova 7 mobile phone could not connect. In the beginning, the mate60 was connected once, but after connecting again, it could not be connected.

    Best regards,

    Yolande

  • Hi,

Did it ever worked or this is the first time you are trying to make it work?

At least from the log above, it seems that the servicepack is not even programmed so you are working with a RIM based code.

Can you please update the servicepack and check? the latest is 2.15.0.1.

You can find it here https://www.ti.com/tool/download/CC3200SDK/1.5.0

  • Hi Shlomi,

    It ever worked.

I updated the service pack (CC3x00ServicePack-1.0.1.15-2.15.0.1-windows-installer.exe). The current log information is as follows. I searched the forum for this error and found that 109 is the error below. There is one in the forum. Same question, but no engineer responded.

    How to solve it?

    #define SL_GENERAL_ERROR_CON_MGMT_STATUS_DISCONNECT_DURING_CONNECT  (-109)

    Thanks & Best regards,
    Yolande
  • Hi,

When you say "it ever worked", do you mean it worked before or not?

Error -109 means that the other side disconnected but it doesn't say what the reason is.

Best would be to look at an air sniffer. Do you have this capability?

    Regards,

    Shlomi
