WL1835MOD: RED wireless device certification

Does TI have RED wireless device certification data for WL1835MOD?

The customer has one of our own declaration documents, but currently requires a third-party authentication document for customs clearance.

So do we have RED certification reports from third parties?

    Hi,

    Certification reports according them was issues EC DoC you can find here.

    But if your customer asking for RED certification reports, it basically means he not understand meaning of the RED (2014/53/EU) directive. To be able sell any device in EU you need to have issued EC DoC. EC DoC is issued by manufacturer of device itself. For each "class" of devices are different requirements. For example radio transmitting/receiving devices generally need to met RoHS (2011/65/EU) and RED (2014/53/EU) directive. RED than describes what tests according standards need to be done (EMC tests, safety tests). But if you have module with DoC is does not automatically means that this DoC can be automatically apply to your device where is module embedded. All need to be carefully assessed.
