WILINK-BT_WIFI-WIRELESS_TOOLS: FCC Testing Using the Calibrator Tool

Part Number: WILINK-BT_WIFI-WIRELESS_TOOLS

Current Setup:

- Beaglebone Black Wireless (BBBW)

- Linux am335x-evm 4.9.59

- Calibrator Tool v0.80

We are having issues during testing receiving 100% transmit duty cycle when hooked up to a spectrum analyzer through the ANT1 and ANT2 antennas. It is failing to meet the restricted band limits when testing the following:

- 802.11b, CH 11

- HT40, CH 3

- HT40, CH 9

Could someone please inform us on how to use the TI Calibrator tool to adjust the duty cycle to cover 100%? If this cannot be done, could someone please explain why and how we should proceed?

Thanks.

The 100% duty cycle is not possible. It is recommended to use less than 40% duty cycle for the TX performance tests. The testing house can measure the burst power to meet the requirements and perform duty-cycle correction if needed.
