LAUNCHXL-CC3235SF: After reset, the program cannot be normally executed

Hi ALL.

I used CCS to download the uartecho routine provided by the official website of TI. After downloading the uartecho routine, the console (serial port assistant) can echo the sent data, but after pressing the reset key or recharging the power, the data sent by the serial port can't be echoed.

Is this because the program was not downloaded to flash correctly? How to deal with this problem?

Hi,

To be code persistent after reset you need to upload code into serial flash using Uniflash software. See www.ti.com/.../swru469d.pdf or dev.ti.com/.../node

If you're new to the CC3235, I also suggest checking out the Out of Box Experience which contains an introduction on the device, external serial flash, and bootloader: dev.ti.com/.../node
